communicating on facebook

Students are improving their communication through social networks, such as Facebook, a skill the study found is essential for a successful career. The study involved teenagers aged 16 to 18, of many different economic backgrounds and from urban high schools in the Midwest.


"Facebook has changed the way people communicate," Mountz said. "It's the familiarity of the technology. This generation is becoming more comfortable with technology in any field."


On Facebook, we are peers.  When we share, we expect and hope for comments and participation.  And this is a good thing.  For people that are interested in this deeper level of communication are asking to be engaged with.  And that is what this is all about.


Facebook is rapidly becoming part of the fabric of our culture. It is a beneficial communication tool for individuals and non-profits.

Bad behavior of Lindsay Lohan
People may think that if a celebrity does something good it sells out more, but its not mainly like that bad behavior sells out more than good cause of their action they are doing. Celebrities’ bad behavior is covered more in news stores than positive behavior because; it sells, more drama, and people are going to want more od the bad things that the celebrity is doing.

When bad news happens it sells out more and quickly when its about a celebrity or to other people, but mainly about a celebrity.  Lindsay Lohan for an example got into many problems and is always over the magazines because she is always behaving bad. She has been going to jail for reason ,and one of the reasons was ,”for violating probation; Lindsay is sentenced the actress to 90 days in jail , and a 90-day in-patient drug treatment program.”

Another reason is more drama for the celebrities. Lindsay Lohan was at a watching a modeling club and this is what happen when the drama started. “Lindsay Lohan threw a drink at a model, which was the New York rangers player Aaron Voros girlfriend., Jessica Stam. It turned out that Aaron was her ex-boyfriend. She claimed that she never wanted to be near him even though she wanted to be next to the DJ. So more drama started to occurred Lindsay confess that Aaron pushed her and spilled the drink on Jessica Stam, and the bar fight started.”


The last reason is people are going to be wanting more of the bad things that happened to that main celebrity. On the website that had the bar fight of Lindsay lohan, Aaron Voros, and Jessica Stam, it had many comments that people are saying ,”they are wanting more from the fight and want to know what happened to Lindsay since she mainly started the fight and what they are going to be doing to her and see if she got out of the bar.” Just want more information about the bar fight.

These are these reasons why bad news from bad celebrities. It sells out; Lindsay Lohan  for a violating problem she was sentenced for 90 days & a program for drugs. Also  more drama with the celebrities; Lindsay got into a bar fight with her ex Aaron Voros she spilled a drink on his girlfriend Jessica Stam and started to fight. The last reason is people are going to be wanting more of the bad things that happened to that main celebrity; during the bar fight there were comments of people wanting more information and asking what happened to Lindsay ,and what did Jessica ,and Aaron do.

IA#2-TIJERINA'S

   Lindsay lohan has many problems and all of those problems are bad. She does many things like drugs & and get into a fights. some people think that celeberities are good and cool to be like, but thats not usally what celeberties are, celeberties behavior can be bad/horrible. when something good happens to a celebrity people dont care at all ,but when something bad happens they have to be all over it,then people gossip about it and it becomes a big deal.They all cant be just good they can be bad it depends on some celeberties behavior; such as lindsay lohan.

CREATE

what i've done so far for the project; the design cycle ,was the power point. in the power point i put pictures i'm trying to work on the slideshare. i'm going to at least half of the slideshare. i'm already done with my powerpoint. ,well i just need to do special effects on it. i still need to complete the survey for the 6th graders to make sure they understand the design cycle better.

3 designs

Design 1:
         my first design for my design cycle is going to be with definitions about the design cycle, so the 6th graders can understand the design cycle.

Design 2:
         my second design cycle is going to be with pictures. It'll be easier for the 6th graders can know how it looks like for example; investigate a good picture would be a investigator looking for something; clue.

Design 3:
           my third design is going to be with music. because it'll go with the slideshow & powerpoint & it'll intertian the 6th graders

investigation reflection

10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.  what i'm going to make for this project is a slideshare/powerpoint,im going to make it for the 6th graders so they can understand the design cycle.
11. What are the requirements for this assignment?  My assignment must be clear for the 6th graders to understand and must be 2 minutes.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?  The limitations of this project is the time because 2 minutes because 2 minutes isn't enough time to present the design cycle.
13. How will you "test" your project?  I will test my project by giving out test and making sure the 6th graders understand it.

SLIDESHOW:

    The score i give myself for simplicity is a 9 because i'm comparing a powerpoint with a slideshare and it is easier to get into a power point and its kind of gonna be easier to be on slideshare because its going to be in the internet. And on powerpoint you just need to click one button on the computer which is 'next' or 'enter'.


  The score i'm giving myself on music is a 10 ,because in the internet you can get music that goes with the power point and slideshare. Also people will get intertain with the music that goes with the slideshare and powerpoint.


  On effects i'm going to give myself a 10 ,because if i look on the powerpoint and slideshare i'm going to make it creative. Also you can put pictures to go with the topic or to go with the things you are going to be writing. Even it'll go with it and it'll be better with it instead of leaving the blank spots blank and just have words with it. And i can put examples for the theme and that'll make the 6th graders understand the theme of what i'm working on. Also in the powerpoint you search up the pictures in clip art but they don't have many pictures, But in slideshare i can download pictures on the internet and post copy and paste them.

SLIDESHOW:

  The score i chose for simplicity i give myself an 7 because its easier to use and you can put pictures, music and more to the slideshow..its much easier to use ,but it may be difficult as well. Also i understand how you use it. The project has to be 2mins long so i have enough time to present it.

  The score i chose for music is an 4 because it might be difficult to put in the music on the slideshow. I also gave myself a 4 because the music will go with the slideshow and the people will get intertian with the music. but the music will go with the slideshow.

The score i chose for characteristics is a 10 . the reason i chose to give myself a 10 because its easier to put pictures. i can put special effects on the slide show to make it better than just having the music and making it all plain. so thats why i gave myself an 10 for characteristics.

Today, I researched how to do a slide show i found the information that might help me for this assignment. this website may help me by comparing a slide show on one website to another. i chose slide boom and slide now i need to see what are the difference. now i need to design a story board on my assignment. i hope this slide show will help the 6th graders about the design cycle.
